WTWTA Ch 9CHAPTER 9 FAMILY I heard roaring in the forest behind me and I turned around to see the others waving at me. KW was the first to come out of the forest. "Shaya! Don't leave us! Please!" "I'm sorry, KW. I don't belong here. I'm a freak, and besides which- Carol hates me. I have to leave, for my own safety." I'm sorry. Forgive me. Suddenly, Carol rushed out of the forest. I started to run and beat my wings, lifting my self to the sky because I was afraid he would hurt me, like he'd wanted to do before.. "Wait, Shaya!" WTWTA Ch 8CHAPTER 8 SAD GOODBYE? I found Carol, walking through the forest. I followed him, wanting to see where he went. He climbed up the huge hill he'd pointed to earlier. I quietly climbed up, trying to keep him in sight. When I got to the top, I saw him standing a short distance ahead of me. I ducked behind a large rock risked a glance to see what he was doing. Carol, what are you doing? I wondered. I saw him poking around at a small scale replica of a village. It had small versions of everyone. He started mumbling to himself. I do.” I followed Kelac and Grovyle down a small staircase into an opening in the cliffside. We set up some beds and quickly fell asleep. Later that night, however, I woke up and went outside. I climbed to the top of a tall tree and sat there. I don’t know why I did that, but I couldn’t help it. “Shaya?” I turned around to see Grovyle climbing up the tree to sit next to me
